VALLEJO – Employees, managers, administrators and physicians gathered to dedicate Sutter Solano Medical Center’s refurbished chapel on Monday in a formal ceremony.
The 415-square-foot chapel is the concluding piece of an overall hospital enhancement project that began in May 2015.
“The chapel and our spiritual care program are very important elements to our hospital,” said John Boyd, CEO, Sutter Solano Medical Center. “We are excited to offer this beautiful space to our patients, their loved ones and our staff to help them find solace during a difficult time.”
The chapel has been designed to nurture spiritual practices to help the hospital’s visitors and employees cope with the ongoing stress of the hospital environment. The room has been arranged by Sutter Solano’s chaplains to accommodate the diverse spiritual practices of the community. Read More about Sutter Solano Medical Center Dedicates Refurbished Chapel
